Radyr Adult Education Centre offers a wide range of part-time day and evening courses and other activities for the residents of Radyr and surrounding villages. There is a mix of accredited and non-accredited courses covering: arts and crafts, ICT, health and fitness (including swimming), languages, cookery, music and general interests.

Accredited courses are offered primarily in ICT and Languages: ECDL and OCN (Open College Network).

One day courses are also offered in the Spring Term, normally on a Saturday in March covering a range of subjects. Some of these courses give students the opportunity to taste what is on offer throughout the year.

We are happy to advise learners on what we have to offer and can direct them to appropriate agencies within the County for courses we do not run.

Details of all courses and activities are published on the website in June each year. We produce a Cardiff North brochure which covers the 3 Adult Education centres in Cardiff North: Radyr, Whitchurch and Ty Celyn this includes our One-Day Course details; copies of which may be obtained from the Library in Park Road or from the Centre.

Adult and Community Learning offer the public over 1,000 enjoyable and rewarding courses across a wide variety of subjects throughout Cardiff. So if you are looking to progress at work, find a new hobby or increase your personal skills why not see what we have on offer. For the full range of adult and community learning courses throughout Cardiff, visit the website where you can search for the course that suits you.
